A little bit about myself! After high school graduation, I decided to play junior hockey instead of going straight to college. I played three years of junior hockey, the last two of which I spent in Cody, WY. This was a tremendous experience that greatly affected my life. I was able to coach young hockey players and also served as a positive role model to the youth in Cody. After my junior hockey career was over, I felt my calling was to become a math teacher.

FamilyMy Grandpa Jerome is a talented mechanic and used to build custom tractors on our family farm. Many of his tractors he built 45+ years ago are still used regularly. My dad has gone from running a small seed cleaning business at the farm to playing a key role in one of the most cutting edge food ingredient distributors in the world. My mom has always done what she can to help others by acts of service such functioning as "the team mom" in sports, being on the local Dollars for Scholars committee and anonymously donating her kidney. I will bring this ingenuity and love to serve others into my classroom.

Interests and HobbiesI am currently playing for the University of Mary in what is my 20th and last year of competitive hockey. After my playing days are done, I intend to start coaching. I co-founded Dakota Roots Hockey School, a hockey school that provides affordable hockey camps with the goal of positively affecting as many kids as possible.
I also enjoy playing guitar, hunting, fishing, and playing golf. |
